Obama campaign COO Betsy Myers will be at the Madame Walker Theatre in Indianapolis on May 14 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door for the lecture only. A $75 VIP ticket must be purchased in advance and includes the lecture and a networking reception. General seating tickets may be purchased at the Walker box office (317.236.2099). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Madame C.J. Walker Building Fund. For more information or to purchase a VIP ticket, please call (317) 722-7819.
Also, don't forget the DFA Campaign Training in Lafayette THIS WEEKEND on May 16-17. Registration is $60 in advance, $75 at the door, $30 scholarships for students/low income. For more information or to register go to http://tinyurl.com/dfalafayette.
Welcome President Obama on May 17th when the President comes to give the commencement speech at Notre Dame. Please join us at the airport (approximately 12:00) to welcome him and then head off for a can food drive. We will be going door to door to collect food and show our support for the President through community service. All food will be collected at the South Bend Democratic Headquarters and donated to the Northern Indiana Food Bank. Campus housing will be available for college democrats and young democrats. Join fellow Indiana Democrats at a special dinner to benefit Keep Indiana Blue with the Honorable André Carson; the Honorable Joe Donnelly; the Honorable Brad Ellsworth and the Honorable Baron Hill with special guest President Barack Obama.
